| The diagonals of the rhombus intersect at right angles and at the intersection point they are divided in half, then the triangle AOB is rectangular, AO = AC / 2, BO = BD / 2.
1) AO = 8/2 = 4 cm, BO = 6/2 = 3 cm, then AB ^ 2 = AO ^ 2 + BO ^ 2 = 16 + 9 = 25.
AB = 5 cm.
2) AO = 16/2 = 8 cm, BO = 12/2 = 6 cm, then AB ^ 2 = AO ^ 2 + BO ^ 2 = 64 + 36 = 100.
AB = 10 cm.
3) AO = 4/2 = 2 cm, BO = 2/2 = 1 cm, then AB ^ 2 = AO ^ 2 + BO ^ 2 = 5 + 1 = 6.
AB = √6 cm.
