Did Alexander the Great succeed in uniting the Hellenes as a barbarian?

It is impossible to say for sure whether Alexander was able to unite the barbarians and the Greeks. It is known for sure that due to the conquests of Alexander, ancient culture spread far beyond the borders of Greece itself, throughout the entire territory of the Ancient East. Thus, after the collapse of Alexander’s empire, states with ancient culture arose there. They were also called the states of the Diadochi. These were: the Seleucid state, the Greco-Bactrian kingdom, the kingdom of Ptolemy, etc.
