Did the circulatory system first appear in flatworms?

The circulatory system first appears in annelids (representatives are earthworms). The circulatory system is represented by vessels, there is no real heart. Its role is played by four large vessels. The circulatory system is closed, that is, blood flows only through the vessels, without leaving the body cavity and without washing the internal organs. Blood from the “hearts” is directed through the dorsal vessel, then returns through the abdominal vessel to the “hearts”.
