Similarities:
These organisms are parasites. They infect the body and parasitize it.
They feed by absorbing organisms, feed on ready-made nutrients.
Differences:
Ciliates parasitize the body outside, and flagellates – inside.
Ciliates feed on inorganic substances, and flagellates – on organic ones.
Ciliates also move with the help of the cilia of the pseudopods, and the flagellates – with the flagella.
