In the 16th century, manufactories began to be created, which were large enterprises. They belonged to the state. The most famous were: Cannon yard, Printing yard, Mint, Armory. In the 17th century, private ownership of such enterprises appeared. The role was played by the capital of the merchants. With private funds, manufactories of various directions were created, that is, production became wider. Rope yards, iron-component factories, and textile enterprises appeared.
