Distinctive features of respiration of reptiles from amphibians.

In reptiles, unlike amphibians:
there is a chest;
thanks to the intercostal muscles, air is sucked into the lungs due to the expansion of the chest, and is thrown out due to its decrease;
folds appear on the lungs and the mesh is well pronounced. This increases the inner surface of the lungs and accordingly improves gas exchange;
no longer breathe skin.
