Do all plants contain chloroplasts?

Not all plants contain chloroplasts in their cells. These elements take part in photosynthesis and have a characteristic green color. It is because of them that the plants are green. But not everyone has that color. For example, there are brown plants. These are mainly algae. Due to the thickness of the water, light does not reach many underwater plants. As a result, they do not have chloroplasts, since they cannot photosynthesize. They receive the necessary substances as a result of similar or radically different processes in the cellular system.
