Do children inherit the blood groups of their parents, if the mother has group 1, and the father has group 4?

Blood groups in humans are determined by different combinations of three genes – A, B, O. Gene O is recessive with respect to genes A and B. Genotypes for different blood groups are as follows: 1 – OO, 2 – AA or AO, 3 – BB or BO, 4 – AB. If the mother has 1 blood group OO, her gametes always contain only the gene O. The father has group 4, which means his AB genotype, and he forms gametes – A and B. So, their children can have either the genotype – AO, that is, 2 blood group, or genotype BO, that is, 3 blood group. Other options are not possible.
