Do children inherit the blood groups of their parents, if the mother has group 1, and the father has group 4?

| Blood groups in humans are determined by different combinations of three genes – A, B, O. Gene O is recessive with respect to genes A and B. Genotypes for different blood groups are as follows: 1 – OO, 2 – AA or AO, 3 – BB or BO, 4 – AB. If the mother has 1 blood group OO, her gametes always contain only the gene O. The father has group 4, which means his AB genotype, and he forms gametes – A and B. So, their children can have either the genotype – AO, that is, 2 blood group, or genotype BO, that is, 3 blood group. Other options are not possible.
