Do lice live on things?

Lice are not adapted to live on wool or other mammals. There are different types of insects, depending on which they choose their habitat:
· Head nits and lice live only on the head of a person;
· Clothes parasites choose a place to live in folds of clothes, bed linen;
· Pubic lice live in the armpits, eyebrows, eyelashes, pubis, mustache.
Without nutrition, head lice can live for about two days, and the nit will go through a full development cycle. Pubic parasites will live no more than 4 hours, the eggs will develop, but as soon as the nymph appears, they will immediately die.
