Do the experiment: take two jars, fill one liter jar half with clean tap (fresh) water, and in the other liter jar half salted (2-3 tablespoons of table salt for 0.5 liters of water). One and the same chicken egg in one jar will drown, and in another it will float on the surface of the water. How to explain this?

According to Newton’s second law, two forces act on an egg in a jar, the weight of the body and a buoyant force acts in the opposite direction to it.
If they are equal, the body floats; if the weight is greater than the buoyancy, the body sinks.
Our egg weight is the same, but the buoyancy force in the jars is different, according to Archimedes’ law, it depends on the volume of the body and the density of the liquid. The volume of the body is the same, but the density of salt water is greater than that of fresh water, therefore, the buoyancy force is greater in a jar of water, which means that the egg will not drown in it.
