Do you need to be humane in modern society?

Whatever one may say, we live in an era of humanism, in which, regardless of your beliefs, you must be humane. Not being humane, you will not fit into this society, remaining for the majority of those around you a marginal, antisocial personality and will remain on the sidelines of this society. And so far no one knows what such a massive humanization of society will lead to.
