Do you think it is possible to compare modern and primitive art?

In my opinion, it is impossible to compare primitive and modern art due to the belonging to different historical epochs of cultural objects. Art should be studied in a system and from a specifically historical approach, since from the point of view of a modern person, the understanding of many details of past times is distorted in accordance with the modern vision of the world. A person has a subjective understanding of the world. But if you consider primitive art from the point of view of that era, you can understand all its value.
