Do you think that day is always equal to night on the Equator, but does this happen at the poles?

On the Equator, day is always equal to night for the simple reason that the Sun is there alternately, now in the southern part of the sky, then in the northern part. Although if you look at it, then at the equator the day is always a few minutes longer than the night. At the poles, everything happens exactly the opposite: one half of the year the Sun is in the northern part of the sky, the other – in the southern. This can also be explained by the tilt of the earth’s axis to the orbit. However, every year there are days – September 23 and March 21, when equinoxes occur at the poles, as well as in other parts of the world.
