Do you think the defeat of the Austrian and Spanish Habsburgs in the Thirty Years’ War was accidental?

It cannot be said with complete certainty that the Hapsburgs lost the Thirty Years’ War, because if they lost, Protestantism would become the official religion of the Holy Roman Empire.

The war ended in a draw. Freedom of religion was established.

However, the defeats of the Habsburgs were not accidental: the Protestants were supported by all the strongest states in Europe: France, Denmark, Sweden and England. The most powerful army of that time, the Swedish king Gustav Adolf, fought against the Catholic armies.
