Ecological features of tundra animals.

The tundra has its own characteristics that leave their mark on its inhabitants.
Deer have wide hooves for moving through the snow, and the indentation in the hoof allows them to shovel the snow to search for food underneath. Arctic foxes have thick fur, which allows them to easily endure frosts. Wolverines have hair that does not get wet or stick together, and ermines have special membranes on their paws so as not to fall into the snow when moving. Partridges have adapted to dig holes in the snow in order to hide from predators and flee from low temperatures.
