Economic and political development of the United States in the second half of the 19th century.

By the mid-1830s. a Whig party was formed and a version of a two-party system was drawn up. This option was in the period 1830-1850s.
Period 1876-1892 – “party balance”. The problems in economic development in these decades were the policy regarding tariffs, monopoly, currency. In 1892, free farmers entered into an alliance with trade unions and other workers and “leftist” organizations.
