Economic transformations of the Bolsheviks.

The economic transformations of the Bolsheviks were carried out in the period after the October Revolution. Their actions were in line with the original policy of socialism. The Bolsheviks overthrew the Provisional Government in Russia and established the dictatorship of the proletariat. Further, reforms were carried out to nationalize land and enterprises in the country. Peasant farms also began to unite into collective farms for a more socialist way of life. The landowners’ land was distributed throughout the country and passed into the hands of the peasants and the disadvantaged.
