Environmental problems of the steppe zone.

The ecological problems of the steppes include:

1) Deforestation, due to which the animals inhabiting them suffer, as well as desertification of territories.

2) Plowing of land, which can lead to soil erosion.

3) Contamination of soil and rivers with industrial waste.

4) Illegal shooting of animals (or poaching).

5) Trampling the soil with livestock. Because of this, the land becomes barren, practically nothing grows on it.

6) Often dry grass is burned to make room for crops. Because of this, there are often fires.
