Angle AOC = Angle BOD
Find: AC =?
Decision:
Angle AOC = Angle BOD because they are vertical.
Since the segments are equal and the intersection point is divided in half, ABCD is a rectangle.
It follows from this that AC = BD = 12 cm.
Answer: AC = 12 cm.
