Examples when the body cannot be considered as a material point

A body cannot be regarded as a material point when the direction of its center of gravity does not coincide with the direction of movement of the body itself, or when the size and shape of the body cannot be neglected in this case.

Examples include: a gymnast doing exercises on the uneven bars; planets, when calculating their movement around their axis; a hare trying to climb into a hole; a fighter performing complex aerobatics.
