The characteristic features of feudalism include:

1. Feudal dependence of the peasants on their feudal lord, as well as their assignment to the land;

2. Dominance of natural economy;

3. Plots of land (feuds) are assigned to one person – a feudal lord.

We can say that in the Middle Ages, relationships developed when one person was subordinate to another, where a large landowner was always at the top of the hierarchy, and ordinary people-peasants, who were forced to work for their feudal lord, at the bottom.
