The largest international organization is the UN, which was created after the end of World War II, unleashed by Hitler. The tasks of the UN include resolving conflicts between countries by peaceful means, preventing major military conflicts. The organization is coping with its tasks, however, it is not always possible to prevent local wars. The same organization was the League of Nations, created after the First World War. This organization did not have such a success.
