Expand the role of birds in plant life?

Mutualism. Birds interacting with flora in our ecosystems have a reciprocal relationship, meaning they both benefit from the relationship. While the bird obtains nectar or fruit (in the form of berries) from the tree, the tree benefits from another organism pollinating or dispersing the seeds.

Pollination. Pollination is the process in which pollen is transferred within and between plants that facilitate fertilization and reproduction. Bees, wasps, butterflies and birds act as pollinators.
