Explain how algae multiply?

Algae can reproduce in two ways: sexual and asexual.
With asexual reproduction, their cells divide in two, the nucleus is divided first, then the vacuole, the ocellus, and other components. The mother cell can give about eight daughter cells. The cells later turn into spores and travel great distances. Having found a suitable place, the spores turn into algae.
When sexual reproduction occurs, the two cells fuse to form a zygote, which develops and transforms into an adult.
