Explain the differences in the development of the countries of Eastern and Western Europe in the 20th century.

There are so many differences to be cited, from cultural to religious. But here there is only one difference in development. Most of the eastern countries fell under the influence of the USSR, and therefore socialism developed in these countries and their path of development was controlled by the USSR. But many Western countries chose the capitalist path, however, no one imposed it on them, but they were in a coalition against the socialist world. State policy and ideology became the main reason for the different development of these countries.
