Lymphopoiesis (formation of lymph) from tissue fluid occurs due to:

I. Filtration, diffusion and absorption of blood plasma constituents (water, glucose, minerals, amino acids, etc.) from the blood capillaries into the tissue;

II. The exchange of substances between tissue fluid and tissue cells;

III. Transfer of tissue fluid to lymphatic capillaries.
