Explain the process of diffusion in liquids.

Diffusion, being a process of mutual penetration of molecules of different substances, has a speed. The latter directly depends on the state of aggregation of this or that substance. This process occurs most rapidly in gases, then in liquids. If the liquid is heated, the movement of the molecules will accelerate, and hence the diffusion will accelerate. As the liquid cools, the diffusion rate will decrease.
