The action of hormones is realized (in most cases) rather slowly, but it is under the influence of these substances that very important processes occur – growth, breakdown of carbohydrates, regulation of metabolic rate and many others. Transportation of hormones throughout the body can be carried out not only with the blood flow, but also through the lymphatic system.

Basic principles of humoral regulation
The intensity of the release and release of a hormone (any) is carried out on the basis of how deviated from the average value of the norm this or that function in the human body. In other words, the humoral system exists in order to maintain all processes in the corridor of the “gold standard”.
