Explain why birds make seasonal migrations.

Seasonal migrations are made by birds every year, due to seasonal changes in ambient temperature, changes in the amount of food or changes in bird breeding behavior. The great mobility of birds allows them to make seasonal migration, which is not inherent in most other animal species. Seasonal bird migration is an adaptation of animals to climate change and it depends on temperature, not calendar days. Thus, if the temperature begins to drop sharply or the animals do not have enough food, then they are ready to leave their native places.
