Gas is one of the three states of aggregation of matter. Gases do not have a clear crystal lattice, its particles interact very weakly with each other, and move randomly. Gas molecules do not have clear positions or orbits of motion, as, for example, molecules of solids or liquids. That is why they have no shape and occupy the entire volume of the vessel.
