Explain why organelles are called specialized cell structures?

A cell is a system. It consists of components called organelles. At the same time, it is necessary to perform vital functions in the system. Each organelle has a role to play. For instance. the lysosome “digests” the extra components of the cell, EPS participates in cell compartmentalization and the maturation of macromolecules, photosynthesis occurs in the chloroplast, and chromosomes store genetic information. Consequently, organelles are separate structures that have a specific specialization.
