Factors that determine the sex of the body.

In some organisms, the environment determines the sex of individuals. Thus, some environmental factors, such as the size of the parent’s body or eggs, the parent’s age and temperature, determine gender in some cases.

On most plants, the male and female reproductive organs are in the same color (bisexual or hermaphrodite plants) or in different flowers of the same plant. The mechanisms of sex determination in plants are essentially similar to those found in animals.
