Features of the chemical composition of organisms.

The composition of living organisms includes compounds characteristic only of living beings – nucleic acids, lipids, carbohydrates, proteins, etc.

The main groups of biogenic elements:

organogenic (98%) – Nitrogen, Carbon, Hydrogen, Oxygen;
macronutrients (1.9%) – Calcium, Phosphorus, Potassium, Chlorine, etc .;
trace elements (0.1%) – Copper, Iodine, Zinc, etc.
The ratio of chemical elements in nature: in living nature, Oxygen, Nitrogen, Carbon, Hydrogen predominate, and in inanimate nature: Oxygen, Silicium, Iron, Aluminum.
