Features of the composition of the population of the Russian Empire by the beginning of the 20th century.

By the beginning of the 20th century, Russia had a developed industry, therefore, such classes as the bourgeoisie and the proletariat were formed. The bourgeoisie owned capital, and the proletariat was the labor force. The workers worked on a hired basis and received a salary. At the beginning of the 20th century, the issue of land redemption was resolved, a class of peasant-owners began to form, who were interested in the development of their economy. Their position has improved compared to the 19th century.
