Features of the political development of Europe in the early Middle Ages.

During this period of time, several kingdoms formed in Europe: Frankia, England, Germany or the Holy Roman Empire. All of them were based on the feudal system. That is, the lands were divided between large feudal lords. This became the reason that already in the early period of the Middle Ages Europe was absorbed in feudal wars, which entailed the fragmentation of kingdoms into principalities, duchies and baronies. Often the church intervened in political life.
