Features of the structure of the digestive system of unicellular organisms.

The unicellular organism consists of only one cell. Accordingly, they do not have any tissues, let alone organs. All vital processes proceed due to the internal structures of the cell – organelles. Digestion takes place in several stages. First, food enters the cage. Then it is broken down into smaller lysosome particles. The resulting organic molecules are split into even smaller structures in the cytoplasm, and then these structures are oxidized in mitochondria. Unprocessed substances and waste leave the body thanks to the contractile vacuoles.
