Fertilization in most fish.

Most fish are fertilized externally. This process is not typical for most land animals, since land animals have internal fertilization. In the aquatic environment, fish first lay eggs. After this, the eggs are fertilized with the seminal fluid of the male fish, since the eggs do not contain complete genetic information. Only fertilized eggs can turn into fish fry. Some fish are viviparous, that is, they do not lay eggs, but give birth to fry.
