In fact, there are quite a few countries that do not have access to the World Ocean.

There are forty-three of them.

Most of them are in Africa. There are 15 states there.

Next comes Europe with 14 countries.

Then Asia with 12 states.

And 2 more countries in South America.

The most famous of these countries: Botswana, Belarus, Austria, Czech Republic, Liechtenstein.

Despite the remoteness from abundant water supplies, some of these countries take pride of place in the ratings of life, prosperity, and security.

So the lack of an exit is not always a bad thing.
