We will solve the problem through proportion.
With the help of the conditional variable “Y” we determine the number of degrees of the desired angle.
Based on the information from the problem, we get the proportion: 120% relate to 60 degrees, as 100% relate to Y degrees.
Applying the resulting proportion, we have the equation: Y x 120 = 60 x 100.
As a result of solving the equation, we have the following value Y = 60 x 100/120 = 600/12 = 50 degrees.
Answer: the desired angle is 50 degrees.
