Let’s build the height DH.
Triangle АDН is rectangular in which, by condition, the angle DАН = 30.
The height DH is erect against an angle of 30, then its length is equal to half the length of the hypotenuse AD.
DH = AD / 2.
AD = 2 * DH = 2 * 8 = 16 cm.
In a rhombus, all sides are equal, then AB = AD = 16 cm.
Determine the area of the rhombus.
Savsd = AB * DH = 16 * 8 = 128 cm2.
Answer: The area of the rhombus is 128 cm2.
