| Find the area of the circle and the length of the circumference of the circle if the side of the square described around it is 6 cm.
It is known that the radius of a circle inscribed in a square is equal to half of the side of the square: r = 6/2 = 3 cm.
The area of the circle is determined by the formula: S = π * r ^ 2 = π * 3 ^ 2 = π * 9 ≈ 28.27 cm2.
We find the length of the circle by the formula: l = 2 * π * r = 2 * π * 3 = 6 * π ≈ 18.85 cm2.
