Find the area of the triangle ABD if AB = AD = CD = BC = 4cm

1) I will give a quadrangle ABCD, and by condition its sides are equal to each other. Therefore, ABCD is a square with a side of 4 cm.
2) Triangle ABD – rectangular, in which the hypotenuse DB is the diagonal of this square.
Let’s find the area of a right-angled triangle using the formula:
S = (AB * AD) / 2 = (4 * 4) / 2 = 16/2 = 8 cm ^ 2.
Answer: S (ABD) = 8 cm ^ 2.
