Find the coordinates of the intersection point of the graphs of the functions y = 10x-14 and y = -3x + 12.

| Let’s equate the functions to understand at what point they intersect:
10x – 14 = -3x + 12.
Move the unknowns to one side, and the numbers to the other. When transferring, the sign changes.
10x + 3x = 12 + 14.
13x = 36.
x = 36/13.
Find the value of y at this point by substituting x in any of the functions:
10 * 36/13 + 14 = 360/13 + 14 = 360/13 + 182/13 = 542/13.
