Let’s use the formula for calculating the coordinates of the midpoint С (xс; yс) of the segment with the ends A (xa, ya) and B (xb, yb) on the plane: xс = (xa + xb) / 2 and yc = (уa + уb) / 2. We have: xс = (1 + 3) / 2 = 2 and mustache = (3 + 1) / 2 = 2. So, the coordinates of the middle of the segment AB are C (2; 2).
