The circumference is behind the formula:
C = 2 * π * r, where C is the circumference, r is the radius of the circle, π is pi, which, when rounded to tenths, equals 3.1.
r = d / 2, where d is the diameter of the circle;
r = 1.25 / 2 = 0.625.
Find the circumference:
C = 2 * 3.1 * 0.625 = 3.875.
