In this task, you need to find a whole segment through a given part of it. Since in order to find some part of an integer, you need to multiply it by this part, we will perform the opposite action. Divide the length of the piece (40 cm) by the part of which it is (4/7) and we get the full length of the segment.
40 / 4/7 = (40 * 7) / 4 = 10 * 7 = 70 (cm).
