Let’s make the proportion:
50 mol (CaCO3) – X mol (CO2);
-1 mol                    -1 mol from here, X mol (CO2) = 50 * 1/1 = 50 mol;
Let’s calculate the volume of CO2 using Avogadro’s law:
Y (CO2) = 50 * 22.4 = 1120 l;
Let’s determine the mass of CO2 by the formula:
m (CO2) = Y * M = 50 * 44 = 2200 g;
Answer: the volume of carbon monoxide is 1120 liters, the mass of carbon monoxide is 2200 g.
