| The radius of a circle circumscribed about a regular triangle is determined by the formula:
R = a / √3.
From here we can find the side of a regular triangle:
a = R√3.
The perimeter is the sum of the lengths of all sides. Since the sides are equal in a regular triangle, the perimeter can be found as three times the length of the side:
P = 3 * a = 3R√3 = 3 * 8 * √3 * √3 = 72.
