Find the perimeter of an isosceles triangle with two sides 28 cm and 26 cm

Recall that an isosceles triangle is a triangle whose two sides are equal.
Since the condition does not indicate which side is the base and which side is the side, this problem has two solutions.
1) Let’s assume that the base is 28, and the sides are 26. Find the perimeter by adding the lengths of all sides:
P = 28 + 26 + 26 = 80;
2) This time, on the contrary, the base will be equal to 26, and the sides will be 28. The perimeter in this case will be equal to:
P = 26 + 28 + 28 = 84;
Answer: 80 or 84.
