a) Find what the second side of this rectangle is equal to.

26 * 3 = 78 cm.

Find the perimeter of this rectangle:

2 * (26 + 78) = 2 * 104 = 208 cm.

b) Find what the second side of this rectangle is equal to.

According to the condition of the problem, the length of the first side of this rectangle is 26 cm, and the second side of this rectangle is 2 times less than its first side, therefore, the length of the second side is:

26/2 = 13 cm.

Find the perimeter of this rectangle:

2 * (26 + 13) = 2 * 29 = 78 cm.
